Textile engineer
Bill worked as a textile engineer which he was absolutely passionate about. He is also a great people manager and loves to organise.
‘Happiness to me is about being with people. I find that I get along really well with many different types and I have been fortunate to meet some extraordinary people over many years’.
Bill’s social life is busy – singing in the Songbirds community choir, attending the St Kilda baths to swim and other activities during the week. His advice to younger people is to try to be the best they can, to be happy and choose things in life which make them happy. If Bill could have the opportunity to start his life again he would love to be an airline pilot because he loves to travel and go to new places to see all the diversity and variety.

This reminiscence comes from an exhibition held to launch the Digital Storytelling Project. The project was conducted by annecto and captured a significant aspect of the participants’ history through a short narrative. The exhibition was launched at annecto’s Northern office in Coburg on July 30th 2009.
