Rodney grew up around world war 2.
Rodney got 8 years of education in his late teens studied art at Melbourne R.M.I.T for several years.
In school there were no male teachers because all the males where involved in the war and not able to work.
Finding a job for Rodney as a young boy was hard as jobs were scarce due to there not being many jobs hireling due to the war.
Rodney’s first job was making cricketbats at 15 years old
Rodney grew up with Sandy his family pet dog
One of rodneys fond memories is when he drove arouind Australia with Hallen and this daughter amber.
Amber was two at the time and had lots of confidence to explore with the family and make lots of new friends.
One day amber found a rock she decided to keep this rock in the caravan they were traveling in. one day Rodney chucked the rock outside to get rid of mess amber noticed almost straight away the rock was missing and took it back inside.
Amber still has this rock almost 40 years later.
Rodney started photography at 14 mainly as a hobby
Rodney’s first job was making cricketbats at 15 years. Rodney was taught to use a old technique to make the cricketbats by rubbing them on a bone to make it hard.
One of rodneys hobbies is designing and arts after Rodney went into graphic designing at 18 years old Rodney started doing designs for the Eltham Mens Sheds labels and designs.
Rodneys started dating at 16 his first ever date was with Barbra Lee Rodney and Barbra met at a school dance.
First relationship wish Barbra lasted for 2 years
First marriage was in 13th December 1958 at Holy Trinty Church to Yvonne Dawn McWilliams.
Divorce 20th febuary 1975. Decree NISI Yvonne Dawm Crowther
Second marriage 27 September 1975 at the Melbourne Unitarian Church Grey Street East Melbourne Vic to Helen Mary Bradely.

Rodneys Grandma Edith (Chesters) Crowther born on the 27th of January 1879 Stretford Lancaster .U.K. Rodney’s grandparents got married on the 4th of june 1900 Bcon Chapel Manchester .U.K.Rodneys grandparents came into Australia via ship.
Rodneys grandad came to Australia on the gothic ship on the 29th of February 1912 from London.
Rodneys grandma came to Australia on the Belgic ship on the 11th of October 1912 from Liverpool.
