Travelling with friends
Katica has spent many years travelling with her friends, providing her with many happy memories and with opportunities to learn. Katica continues to have a very positive outlook on life with a desire to stay healthy, strong, and independent.
Katica likes to support her many friends where she can.
‘I love to have people around me as it makes me feel very happy, the company of others is very important. I believe it is important to be a good person, be friendly with others, help out where you can, and listen to what your friends have to say‘.
Katica believes in her faith and loves to get out, particularly in the garden as she has a passion for her plants and tells them ‘I love you, you are beautiful’.

This photo and reminiscence come from an exhibition held to launch the Digital Storytelling Project. The project was conducted by annecto and captured a significant aspect of the participants’ history through a photograph and a short narrative. The exhibition was launched at annecto’s Northern office in Coburg on July 30th 2009.
